A mosque at ground zero?: Time for interfaith community-building

A mosque at ground zero?: Time for interfaith community-building

Many of the conditions the Iraqis experienced for quite a lot of years are generated by the differing factions of Islam that inhabit the continent. The Sunni and Shiite factions of Islam in many cases are at odds about nearly whatever happens because country and everything is not going to alter whenever later on. There is nothing that we pemutih wajah can easily do about this as their differences and means of doing work is deeply ingrained.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the apparent leader with the organization the free world press calls ISIS, reveled as part of his self proclaimed role of imam as they preached in a Mosque in Mosul, Iraq after ISIS took the city from the Iraqi 'army.'  This will be the 'army' that have run in the conflict as though these folks were a lot of junior high cheerleaders.  No, that is not exactly accurate.  The cheerleaders probably would have tried to mount a defense.

According to Hindu mythology, the "science of life" was initially enunciated by Brahma, the Creator, in the Brahma Samhita. One version has it that after disease, in the form of fever, first made its presence known in the world, the rishis (sages) of the time gathered together and sent Bharadwaj to the devas (gods) to get the knowledge to combat it. Bharadwaj studied Ayurveda from Indra, king of the devas, and returned to earth to spread the information. He taught several sages, who of their turn, propagated the data further. Ayurvedic principles, techniques and formulations were eventually laid down in numerous texts, for example the famous treatises by Charaka and Sushruta. Preserved and built upon by traditional Ayurvedic experts, called Vaidyas, Ayurveda flourished in India for millennia until it had been relegated on the shadows by very long stretches of Moslem and British rule.

In the Bible's 23rd Psalm, where it says, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not need..." want implies fear, desire, lack, etc. If one lives an ethical, pure lifestyle and sincerely attempts daily contact with higher consciousness through devotion, meditation, mantra, and/or prayer, one starts to experience God as a loving parent. One starts to feel there exists a great, benevolent, supporting and understanding Power within that has the ability to reduce one's needs, wants, desires etc. quite dramatically. This Power could be anything to anyone, perhaps the genie in that movie, "The Secret."

Today, following what many might say was a premature American pull-out, every aspect of life inside involved area is changed, turned upside-down by political unrest.  Syrian refugees are seeking safety anywhere, from Great Britain to France to Germany, for the United States.  Of these great nations, Germany stands alone in its humanity to the people whose only crime is planning to save the lives of themselves in addition to their loved ones, attempting to escape the creeping death which is ISIS, and attempting to escape the barrel bombs in the Syrian dictator.
